Makhosi Khoza

Managing Director

Ms Khoza is an experienced chemist by profession, with over a decade worth of both corporate and business experience in mining. She holds a Bachelor’s in Chemistry, a PDBA and MBA from Wits Business School.

Dr Rendani Mamphiswana

Innovation Head

Dr. Rendani Mamphiswana is an innovation expert with a PhD inInnovation Policy from the University of Johannesburg, MEng inTechnology Management from the University of Pretoria, andextensive experience in process engineering, projectmanagement, and technology development across multiplesectors and universities in South Africa. He joined uNothoHoldings as the key innovation and sustainability head in 2024.

Thabo Gcwabaza

Consulting Chemist

Thabo, a qualified Chemist by profession, brings over a decade of experience from various Municipalities and mining firms specializing in Research and Development, mineral recovery pilot studies and mine plant effluent management. Thabo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from West Virginia State University as well as an MBA degree from the University of South Africa.

Kulani Mayayise

Civil Projects

Kulani has over 17 years civil engineering and project management experience, with a strong specialisation in Mine and road rehabilitation. He holds BTech degree in Civil Engineering and is a registered professional with the ECSA and SAICE.

Senzo Mgabhi

Environmental Projects Specialist

Senzo is a qualified Chemical Engineer with a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town (UCT). He possesses extensive experience in Acid Mine Drainage, mine waste water treatment, and modeling. Senzo joined uNotho Holdings as an Environmental Projects Specialist in June 2024, bringing his expertise to lead and manage environmental initiatives within the company.
